Smoke on the Bayou, our smoked scotch ale, cannot be replicated anywhere else on the planet except in the Great State of Texas. We smoked Texas terroir into this recipe so that it lives and breathes Houston; smoking the malts in tried and true Texas BBQ pits from some of your favorite Houston BBQ spots with their own signature woods and techniques.

For the 2021 bottles of Smoke on the Bayou, legendary names across the Houston BBQ landscape are telling a story only our city can sing. It is a true beer collaboration amongst local friends to create a one-of-a-kind smoked scotch ale that chants victory and never defeat.

This Smoked Scotch Ale balances a malt-bomb of caramel & toffee notes up front, while the smoke subtly cuts the sweetness for a smooth, savory finish. We've partnered with some amigos over the past 9 years that are as Texas as Texas can get, and 2021 is no different, to create a truly unique, one-of-a-kind recipe.

It will mellow out with age and transform from unapologetic to sublime in 6-12 months.
